Once you have browsed through our extensive selection of skirting boards, architraves and window sills, and decided upon your desired style and finish, this page has all the information you need for ordering and delivery.
Choosing and Ordering Your Products
Our products can be purchased using our online ordering system. Please select the product you require by size, profile and finish.
You will be asked to select the number of lengths or sets of product you require. To assist with this, please use our handy calculator found on the product pages. Should you need help with size conversions, see our blog for a handy size conversion guide.
All our products specify the lengths you will receive. In the main products are 4.4 or 3.66 metres long and our architrave sets consist of 2 jambs at 2.1 metres and a head piece at 1.1 metre.
Payment, Pricing and Promotions
Payment is made through our secure Paypal system via a credit or debit card.
Website pricing is for online purchases only. All prices shown are £ pounds sterling. Cost for delivery will be applied during the checkout process.
A confirmation of your order will be sent via email. Please note that an email confirmation of your order does not guarantee acceptance of that order, as we reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse to sell to any customer as circumstances dictate.
We do our best to provide our customers with accurate pricing and information for the products on our website. However, because we are constantly improving our website, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of all the information on our website.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.

Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, please call us as soon as possible on 0800 048 0786.
Once we have processed and shipped your order, the below returns and replacements procedure will apply.
Storage and Handling
Due to the nature of the products, delivery must be accepted in person and the products stored in a dry environment. All products supplied are moisture resistant only. Products are not water proof.
Unfortunately, The Skirting Board Shop will not be held responsible for products left in wet, unsuitable conditions.
Once we have received your order, we will email you with your delivery date. Delivery times can vary based on our current stock availability and the products you have ordered. We aim to ship all primed, veneered and white fully finished products within 5 working days, and all woodgrain fully finished products (light oak, golden oak, rosewood and mahogany) within 7 working days.
We use a dedicated courier service to deliver to your specified address, Monday – Friday (except bank holidays). Please ensure someone is present to sign for the delivery and check for any damage. Redelivery will incur an additional charge of 50% of the original delivery cost.
If our proposed delivery date is not suitable for you, simply reply to the email with your preferred date, or call our offices on 0800 048 0786, between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

Returns and Replacements
We are happy to accept any product return providing that it is in its original packaging. You will be required to pay for the return to ourselves. All returns must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. In order to arrange a return, please call us on 0800 048 0786.
